Tumri Kirpa te manukh deh paayi hai.. Deho Daras
तुमरी क्रिपा ते मानुख देह पाई है देहु दरसु हरि राइआ
Ŧumrī kirpā ṯe mānukẖ ḏeh paaī hai ḏeh ḏaras har raayaā.
By Your Grace, I obtained this human body; grant me the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, O Sovereign Lord King.
अनिक जनम बहु जोनी भ्रमिआ बहुरि बहुरि दुखु पाइआ
Anik janam baho jonī bẖarmi▫ā bahur bahur ḏukẖ pāayāa.
Wandering around through countless incarnations, I endured pain and suffering in so many lives, over and over again.
मिलहु पिआरे जीआ
प्रभ कीआ तुमारा थीआ
Milhu piaāre jīaā.
Parabẖ kīā ṯumārā thīā.
Meet with me, O my Dear Beloved.
O God, whatever You do - that alone happens.
सोई होआ जो तिसु भाणा अवरु न किन ही कीता
Soī hoā jo ṯis bẖāṇā avar na kin hī kīṯā.
That which pleases His Will has come to pass; no one else can do anything.
तुमरै भाणै भरमि मोहि मोहिआ जागतु नाही सूता
Ŧumrai bẖāṇai bẖaram mohi mohiā jāgaṯ nāhī sūṯā.
By Your Will, enticed by the illusion of emotional attachment, the people are asleep; they do not wake up. ||2||
बिनउ सुनहु तुम प्रानपति पिआरे किरपा निधि दइआला
Bino sunhu ṯum parānpaṯ piaāre kirpā niḏẖ ḏaiālā.
Please hear my prayer, O Lord of Life, O Beloved, Ocean of mercy and compassion.
राखि लेहु पिता प्रभ मेरे अनाथह करि प्रतिपाला
Rākẖ leho piṯā parabẖ mere anāthah kar parṯipālā.
Save me, O my Father God. I am an orphan - please, cherish me!
जिस नो तुमहि दिखाइओ दरसनु साधसंगति कै पाछै ॥
Jis no ṯumėh ḏikẖaaiyo ḏarsan sāḏẖsangaṯ kai pācẖẖai.
You reveal the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, for the sake of the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
करि किरपा धूरि देहु संतन की सुखु नानकु इहु बाछै
Kar kirpā ḏẖūr ḏeh sanṯan kī sukẖ Nānak ih bācẖhe
Grant Your Grace, and bless us with the dust of the feet of the Saints; Nanak yearns for this peace.
