ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
गउड़ी महला ५ ॥
Gaoṛī mėhlā 5.

morning
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਮੀਤੁ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਹੈ ਸਮੀਆ ॥
जा का मीतु साजनु है समीआ ॥
Jā kā mīṯ sājan hai samīā.
Those who have the Lord as their Friend and Companion -

ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਕਹੁ ਕਾ ਕੀ ਕਮੀਆ ॥੧॥
तिसु जन कउ कहु का की कमीआ ॥१॥
Ŧis jan kao kaho kā kī kamīā. ||1||
tell me, what else do they need? ||1||

ਜਾ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿਉ ਲਾਗੀ ॥
जा की प्रीति गोबिंद सिउ लागी ॥
Jā kī parīṯ gobinḏ sio lāgī.
Those who are in love with the Lord of the Universe -

ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਭਾਗੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
दूखु दरदु भ्रमु ता का भागी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ḏūkẖ ḏaraḏ bẖaram ṯā kā bẖāgī. ||1|| rahāo.
pain, suffering and doubt run away from them. ||1||Pause||

ਜਾ ਕਉ ਰਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਹੈ ਆਇਓ ॥
जा कउ रसु हरि रसु है आइओ ॥
Jā kao ras har ras hai āio.
Those who have enjoyed the flavor of the Lord's sublime essence

ਸੋ ਅਨ ਰਸ ਨਾਹੀ ਲਪਟਾਇਓ ॥੨॥
सो अन रस नाही लपटाइओ ॥२॥
So an ras nāhī laptāio. ||2||
are not attracted to any other pleasures. ||2||

ਜਾ ਕਾ ਕਹਿਆ ਦਰਗਹ ਚਲੈ ॥
जा का कहिआ दरगह चलै ॥
Jā kā kahiā ḏargėh cẖalai.
Those whose speech is accepted in the Court of the Lord -

ਸੋ ਕਿਸ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਲੈ ਆਵੈ ਤਲੈ ॥੩॥
सो किस कउ नदरि लै आवै तलै ॥३॥
So kis kao naḏar lai āvai ṯalai. ||3||
what do they care about anything else? ||3||

ਜਾ ਕਾ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਹੋਇ ॥
जा का सभु किछु ता का होइ ॥
Jā kā sabẖ kicẖẖ ṯā kā hoe.
Those who belong to the One, unto whom all things belong -

ਨਾਨਕ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੪॥੩੩॥੧੦੨॥
नानक ता कउ सदा सुखु होइ ॥४॥३३॥१०२॥
Nānak ṯā kao saḏā sukẖ hoe.
O Nanak, they find a lasting peace.
